HOW ARE YOU DIFFERENT FROM A REGULAR GYM TRAINER?
I meet clients where they are at. Your training should reflect both your current ability levels and what goals you want to pursue. I value open communication above all to make sure my clients are a part of the decision making process. Ultimately, my hope is that my clients feel empowered to take their training into their own hands with me becoming a supportive figure down the road!
DO YOU CHARGE EXTRA FOR NUTRITIONAL GUIDANCE?
As I am not a nutritionist, nutrition coach, and certainly not a registered dietitian, I do not offer meal plans or prescribe diets. However, I am happy to compliment any services these professionals may offer by explaining the science and helping with accountability. I love collaborating with and learning from other professionals in our industry as I believe this helps us all improve the client experience as a whole!
WHAT TYPES OF HOME FITNESS EQUIPMENT DO YOU RECOMMEND?
While a full home gym is not feasible for everyone, a few recommendations that will help maximize the possibilities for home training are both long and short loop bands, yoga blocks, balls of varying weights/diameters/densities, and free weights in the form of adjustable dummbells. Bonuses if space/budget allows may include a bench (flat or adjustable), kettlebells, dowels, and a pull up or suspension trainer station.
